Definitions
For the purposes of this policy:
- Visitor: An individual that visits any page of our front-end website (for example www.doconut.com) or uses our products, web apps, or mobile apps.

Requests will be processed promptly, and your data can be removed without providing a reason.
2.3. Our Role
Doconut acts as both Processor and Controller under GDPR:
- Controller: Doconut, when you create an account.
- Processor: When you use Doconut to send your client’s data.
Client data is managed and accessed only as required or authorized. Doconut does not control this data and acts strictly as a processor under GDPR.
The Client or User is the data controller, fully responsible for the collection and processing of Client Data.
2.4. Data Transfer Across Borders
Your Personal Information may be transferred across jurisdictions as needed, always within the bounds of this policy.
Doconut uses secure AWS hosting facilities located in the US, compliant with EU data protection laws and certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Doconut strives to comply with global privacy laws and adheres to the core principles in this Privacy Policy.
2.5. Compromise of Personal Information
In case of a data breach, Doconut will notify affected customers as required by law.
2.6. Choice
You may choose not to provide Personal Information. However, for activities like purchases or software downloads, we may require it via an online form. Providing such data is entirely optional.

What Happens In The Event Of A Change Of Control

Your information such as customer names and email addresses, and other User information related to the Service may be among the items sold or otherwise transferred in these types of transactions. Doconut, its websites and services are not designed nor structured to attract children. Accordingly, we do not intend to collect Personal Information from anyone we know to be under 13 years of age.
