Which file formats are supported?

For ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core: DOC, DOCX, ODT, XLS, XLSX, ODS, CSV, PPT, PPTX, ODP, PDF, VSD, MPP, TIF, XPS, PSD, DWG, DXF, DGN, EML, MSG, TXT, RTF, XML, EPUB, SVG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, HTML, MHT, DICOM.

HTML and DICOM are not directly available with .NET Core. You can export to PDF and then view. You can also try your own file.

Is WinForms / WPF supported?

No, the viewer is designed for ASP.NET only and supports .NET Framework 4.0+ and .NET Standard 2.0+. However, with a Distribution licence you can export a document to PDF within a WinForms / Console app / Web service.

Do I need Office or any other software on the server / client?

No, installation of additional software on the server or client side is not required, except for any special fonts used.

Can I use it inside a microservice / web service, Windows Forms or console app / command line?

Yes, it can be used for PDF conversion (export). A Distribution licence is required.
